The implementation of this project achieves the following: (1)Comparison analysis between the current Directions for Examination of the Environmental Impact Assessment of six kinds of development projects and other assessment directions were made. (2)A total of fifty people including Environmental Impact Assessment Committee members, experts, scholars, representatives and delegates from the related institutions and groups were invited to share their experiences and opinions; three seminars taking place in the northern, central and southern Taiwan respectively were convened to collect opinions from the related parties and have these opinions and discussions included into the draft of the regulation. (3)The draft for Directions for Examination of the Environmental Impact Assessment of six kinds of development projects was created and the articles are written in a comparative manner. (4)From the domestic and foreign resources, collect information about sustainable development and assessment methods for other related performance indicators. (5)Environmental Impact Assessment Committee members, experts, scholars, representatives and delegates from the related institutions and groups were invited to discuss about the Performance Indicators about Environmental Impact Assessment and provide advices on the establishment methods. (6)The examination methods of Performance Indicators of Environmental Impact Assessment for chief environmental protection authorities, chief objective business institutions and developers were established. (7)Cases related to Performance Indicators of Environmental Impact Assessment were studied and compared.
